﴿لَقَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ فِيهِمۡ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ ﴾
[المُمتَحنَة: 6]
﴿لقد كان لكم فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر﴾ [المُمتَحنَة: 6]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Certainly there is for you in them a good example, for him who fears Allah and the last day; and whoever turns back, then surely Allah is the Self-sufficient, the Praised |
| Mohammad Shafi In them [Abraham and his companions], indeed, you have a good example for everyone who looks forward to Allah and the Last Day. And any, who turns away [from this divine admonition], [should know that] Allah is the One Self-sufficient, the One Praiseworthy |
