﴿قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 116]
﴿قال ألقوا فلما ألقوا سحروا أعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءو بسحر عظيم﴾ [الأعرَاف: 116]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: Cast. So when they cast, they deceived the people's eyes and frightened them, and they produced a mighty enchantment |
| Mohammad Shafi He said, "You throw!" So when they did, they hoodwinked the people's eyes and frightened them, and they displayed some great magic |
