Quran with British translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 24 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿قَالَ ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 24]
﴿قال اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 24]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: Get forth, some of you, the enemies of others, and there is for you in the earth an abode and a provision for a time |
| Mohammad Shafi HE said, "Down you go! Some of you would be inimical to some others. And there is for you in the earth provision for lodging and boarding, for a period of time |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He said: Go down (from hence), one of you a foe unto the other. There will be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a while |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, “Go down, some of you enemies of some; and for you on the earth there will be a dwelling place and enjoyment for a time.” |
| Muhammad Asad Said He: "Down with you, [and be henceforth] enemies unto one another, having on earth your abode and livelihood for a while |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Said He, "Get down (all of you), some of you an enemy to (some) others; and in the earth there is for you a repository and an enjoyment for a while |
| Muhammad Sarwar The Lord told them to leave the garden as each other's enemies and go to earth to dwell and benefit from the means therein for an appointed time |
