Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 24 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿قَالَ ٱهۡبِطُواْ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوّٞۖ وَلَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُسۡتَقَرّٞ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 24]
﴿قال اهبطوا بعضكم لبعض عدو ولكم في الأرض مستقر ومتاع إلى حين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 24]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al God said, “Get down, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood for a time.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He (God) said: go down, some of you will be enemies of the others, and there is a settlement and necessities of life for you on the earth for a while |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said, ‘Get down, being enemies of one another! On the earth shall be your abode and sustenance for a time.’ |
| Ali Unal He said: "Go down, (all of you,) (and henceforth you will live a life,) some of you being the enemies of the others. There shall be for you on the earth a habitation and provision until an appointed time |
| Hamid S Aziz He said, "Go you down, each one of you an enemy to the other. In the earth will be your abode, and a provision for a season |
| John Medows Rodwell He said, "Get ye down, the one of you an enemy to the other; and on earth shall be your dwelling, and your provision for a season |
| Literal He said: "Drop/descend/reduce some of you to some (are) an enemy, and for you in the earth/Planet Earth (is) settlement/establishment and long life/enjoyment to a time |
| Mir Anees Original He (Allah) said, "Go down, some of you will be the enemies of others, and there is a place of stay and provision for you in the earth till a time |
