Quran with English translation - Surah Hud ayat 65 - هُود - Page - Juz 12
﴿فَعَقَرُوهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُواْ فِي دَارِكُمۡ ثَلَٰثَةَ أَيَّامٖۖ ذَٰلِكَ وَعۡدٌ غَيۡرُ مَكۡذُوبٖ ﴾
[هُود: 65]
﴿فعقروها فقال تمتعوا في داركم ثلاثة أيام ذلك وعد غير مكذوب﴾ [هُود: 65]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But they hamstrung it. So he said, “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. Behold, then will come a promise without fail.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad But they killed her. Then he said: enjoy in your houses for three days, this is a promise that is not a lie |
Ali Quli Qarai But they hamstrung her, whereupon he said, ‘Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: that is a promise not to be belied!’ |
Ali Unal But (unable to bear to see her as an evidence of the truth of Salih’s message) they cruelly slaughtered her. Then he (Salih) said: "Enjoy the life in your habitations three days more, (then will be your ruin). This is a threat that will not be proved false |

Literal So they wounded it/slaughtered it/cut it/made it infertile, so he said: "Enjoy three days in your home/country , that (is) a promise not denied/falsified |
