Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 79 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 13
﴿قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ أَن نَّأۡخُذَ إِلَّا مَن وَجَدۡنَا مَتَٰعَنَا عِندَهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّظَٰلِمُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 79]
﴿قال معاذ الله أن نأخذ إلا من وجدنا متاعنا عنده إنا إذا﴾ [يُوسُف: 79]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al He said, “God forbids that we take other than him with whom we found our property. Indeed, we would be acting wrongfully |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He said: may God protect me that we take anyone except whom we found our property with him, for then we are indeed of the wrongdoers |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said, ‘God forbid that we should detain anyone except him with whom we found our wares, for then we would indeed be wrongdoers.’ |
| Ali Unal He said: "God forbid that we take any other but him with whom we found our merchandise; (if we did otherwise) then surely we (too) would be wrongdoers |
| Hamid S Aziz Said he, "I seek refuge in Allah from taking any save him with whom we found our property; verily, we should then be certainly unjust |
| John Medows Rodwell He said, "God forbid that we should take but him with whom our property was found, for then should we act unjustly |
| Literal He said: "I seek protection (of) God, that we take except whom we found our belongings/effects/goods at him then we are unjust/oppressive (E) |
| Mir Anees Original He said, “Allah protect (us) that we seize (some) one other than him with whom we found our property, in that case we will certainly be unjust.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin He said, “God protect (us) that we seize (some) one other than him with whom we found our property, in that case we will certainly be unjust.” |
