Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 72 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿وَإِذۡ قَتَلۡتُمۡ نَفۡسٗا فَٱدَّٰرَٰٔتُمۡ فِيهَاۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡتُمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 72]
﴿وإذ قتلتم نفسا فادارأتم فيها والله مخرج ما كنتم تكتمون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 72]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Remember you killed a person and argued among yourselves concerning the crime, but God would expose what you hid |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And (remember) when you killed a person, then you disputed about it, but God exposed what you were hiding |
| Ali Quli Qarai And when you killed a soul, and accused one another about it—and Allah was to expose what you were concealing— |
| Ali Unal And (remember also) when you had killed a living soul, and were accusing one another to deny the responsibility, but God would disclose what you were concealing |
| Hamid S Aziz Remember when you slew a soul and disputed thereupon, and Allah brought forth that which you had hidden |
| John Medows Rodwell And when ye slew a man, and strove among yourselves about him, God brought to light what he had hidden |
| Literal And when you (P) killed a self, so you repelled (accusations amongst yourselves) in it, and God (is) bringing out what you were hiding/concealing |
| Mir Anees Original And when you killed a person, then you disagreed about it, and Allah (was) to bring out that which you were hiding |
| Mir Aneesuddin And when you killed a person, then you disagreed about it, and God (was) to bring out that which you were hiding |
