﴿وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 58]
﴿وأمطرنا عليهم مطرا فساء مطر المنذرين﴾ [النَّمل: 58]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And We rained down on them a shower of brimstone, and harmful was the shower on those who were advised but did not listen |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We poured down a rain (of stone) on them, and it was an awful rain on those who were warned |
| Ali Quli Qarai Then We poured down upon them a rain [of stones]. Evil was that rain for those who had been warned |
| Ali Unal We poured upon them a (destructive) rain (of stones). How evil was the rain of those who had been warned |
| Hamid S Aziz And We rained down upon them a shower, and dreadful is the rain for those who have been warned |
| John Medows Rodwell And we rained a rain upon them, and fatal was the rain to those who had had their warning |
| Literal And We rained on them rain, so the warned`s/given notice`s rain was bad/evil/harmful |
| Mir Anees Original And We rained on them a rain, so evil was the rain of those who were warned. (R) |
