﴿فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَٰهَا مِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 57]
﴿فأنجيناه وأهله إلا امرأته قدرناها من الغابرين﴾ [النَّمل: 57]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But We saved him and his family, except his wife, We knew that she would be of those who lagged behind |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So We saved him and his family except his wife, whom We destined her among those staying behind |
| Ali Quli Qarai So We delivered him and his family, except his wife. We ordained her to be among those who remained behind |
| Ali Unal Then We saved him and his family except his wife. We decreed that she should be among those who stayed behind (and were destroyed) |
| Hamid S Aziz But We saved him and his family except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lingered behind |
| John Medows Rodwell So we rescued him and his family: but as for his wife, we decreed her to be of them that lingered |
| Literal So We saved/rescued him and his family/people, except his woman (wife), We predestined her from the remaining behind |
