﴿قَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ ءَايَةٞ فِي فِئَتَيۡنِ ٱلۡتَقَتَاۖ فِئَةٞ تُقَٰتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَأُخۡرَىٰ كَافِرَةٞ يَرَوۡنَهُم مِّثۡلَيۡهِمۡ رَأۡيَ ٱلۡعَيۡنِۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصۡرِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 13]
﴿قد كان لكم آية في فئتين التقتا فئة تقاتل في سبيل الله﴾ [آل عِمران: 13]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al There was for you a sign in the two armies who met. One was fighting in the cause of God, the other resisting God. They saw with their own eyes twice their number, but God supports with His aid whom He pleases. In this is a warning for such as have eyes to see |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Indeed there was a sign for you in the two groups that encountered (in the battle of Badr), a group was fighting in God's way, and the other disbelieved. They saw them twice as many, with their own eyes. God supports anyone He wants with His help. There is a lesson in this for those who have insight |
Ali Quli Qarai There was certainly a sign for you in the two hosts that met: one host fighting in the way of Allah and the other faithless, who saw them as visibly twice as many. Allah strengthens whomever He wishes with His help. There is indeed a moral in that for those who have insight |
Ali Unal There has already been a manifest sign (of the truth of God’s way) and lesson for you in the two hosts that encountered (at the Battle of Badr): one host fighting in God’s cause, and the other disbelieving, who saw with their very eyes (the host of the believers) as twice their actual number (during fighting). God confirms with His help and victory whom He wills. Surely in that is a lesson for those who have the power of seeing |

Literal (It) had been a sign/evidence for you in two groups (who) met , a group fights/kills in God`s way/sake , and another disbelieving, they see them (as) two equals to them (B) (twice as much as them) (by) the eye`s sight/vision, and God supports with His victory whom He wills/wants, that in that (is) an example/a warning (E) to (those) of the eye sights/ knowledge |
