Quran with English translation - Surah al-‘Imran ayat 37 - آل عِمران - Page - Juz 3
﴿فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٖ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنٗا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيۡهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزۡقٗاۖ قَالَ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَتۡ هُوَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرۡزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٍ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 37]
﴿فتقبلها ربها بقبول حسن وأنبتها نباتا حسنا وكفلها زكريا كلما دخل عليها﴾ [آل عِمران: 37]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Graciously, her Lord accepted her. He made her grow in refinement and beauty. She was assigned to the care of Zachariah. Every time he entered her chamber to visit her, He found her supplied with sustenance. He said, “O Mary, were does this come to you from? “ She said, “From God. For God provides sustenance to whom He pleases without measure.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Her God accepted her with best acceptance, and raised her with good upbringing, and made Zachariah her guardian. Every time Zachariah entered the chamber, he found food with her. He said: Mary, where did this come from for you? She said: from my God, indeed God provides for whom He wants without any limit |
Ali Quli Qarai Thereupon her Lord accepted her with a gracious acceptance, and made her grow up in a worthy fashion, and He charged Zechariah with her care. Whenever Zechariah visited her in the sanctuary, he would find provisions with her. He said, ‘O Mary, from where does this come for you?’ She said, ‘It comes from Allah. Allah provides whomever He wishes without any reckoning.’ |
Ali Unal (In response to her mother’s sincerity and purity of intention in dedicating the child,) her Lord accepted her with gracious favor and enabled to her a good growth (upbringing), and entrusted her to the care of Zachariah. Whenever Zachariah went in to her in the Sanctuary, he found her provided with food. "Mary," he asked, "how does this come to you?" "From God," she answered. Truly God provides to whomever He wills without reckoning |

John Medows Rodwell So with goodly acceptance did her Lord accept her, and with goodly growth did he make her grow. Zacharias reared her. So oft as Zacharias went in to Mary at the sanctuary, he found her supplied with food. "Oh, Mary!" said he, "whence hast thou this?" She said, "It is from God; for God supplieth whom He will, without reckoning |
Literal So her Lord accepted her, with a good acceptance , and He grew her good growth, and Zachary sponsored/maintained her, whenever Zachary entered on her (in) the center of the home/prayer direction/the35prayer`s niche , he found at her a provision, he said: "You Mary, from where (is) that to you?" She said: "It is from at God, that God provides for whom He wills/wants without counting/calculating |
Mir Anees Original So her Fosterer accepted her with a good acceptance and made her (Maryam) grow into a good growth and gave her into the guardianship of Zakariyya. Whenever Zakariyya entered the sanctuary to (see) her, he found provision (food) with her, he said, "O Maryam! from where (does) this (provision) come to you?" She said, "It is from (that which is ) with Allah." Allah certainly provides without measure to whom He wills |

Whenever Zechariah entered the sanctuary to (see) her, he found provision (food) with her, he said, "O Mary! from where (does) this (provision) come to you?" She said, "It is from (that which is ) with God." God certainly provides without measure to whom He wills |
