Quran with English translation - Surah As-Sajdah ayat 3 - السَّجدة - Page - Juz 21
﴿أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمٗا مَّآ أَتَىٰهُم مِّن نَّذِيرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 3]
﴿أم يقولون افتراه بل هو الحق من ربك لتنذر قوما ما أتاهم﴾ [السَّجدة: 3]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Or do they say, “He has fabricated it?” No, it is the truth from your Lord, so you can advise a people to whom no warner has come before you, in order that they may receive guidance |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Or do they say he made it up? No, but it is the truth from your Master in order for you to warn people whom a warner did not come to them before you, so that they may be guided |
| Ali Quli Qarai But they say, ‘He has fabricated it.’ No, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom there did not come any warner before you, so that they may be guided [to the right path] |
| Ali Unal Or do they say: he (Muhammad) has fabricated it? No, rather it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (during a long interlude during which no Messengers appeared), so that they may be guided (to find and follow the Straight Path) |
| Hamid S Aziz Or do they say, "He (Muhammad) has invented it? Nay! It is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no Warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction |
| John Medows Rodwell Will they say, He hath forged it? Nay, it is the truth from thy Lord that thou mayest warn a people to whom no warner hath come before thee, that haply they may be guided |
| Literal Or they say: "He fabricated/cut and split it." But it is the truth from your Lord to warn/give notice (to) a nation, none from a warner/giver of notice did come to them from before you, maybe/perhaps they be guided |
| Mir Anees Original Or do they say, “He has forged it?” No, it is the truth from your Fosterer that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, they that may receive guidance |
