﴿قُلۡ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَعۡصِمُكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 17]
﴿قل من ذا الذي يعصمكم من الله إن أراد بكم سوءا أو﴾ [الأحزَاب: 17]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “Who is it that can screen you from God if it is His will to give you punishment or to give you mercy?” Nor will they find for themselves, besides God, any protector nor helper |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: who is the one defending you against God if He wants harm for you or if He wants mercy for you? And they will not find any protector and no helper for them besides God |
| Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He desires to cause you harm or desires to grant you His mercy?’ Besides Allah they will not find for themselves any protector or helper |
| Ali Unal Say: "Who is there that can hinder God from it, if He wills evil for you, or if He wills mercy for you?" They will not find for themselves, apart from God, either guardian or helper |
| Hamid S Aziz Say, " Who is it that can withhold you from Allah if He intends to do you harm, or He intends to show you mercy? And they will not find for themselves besides Allah any friend or helper |
| John Medows Rodwell SAY: Who is he that will screen you from God, whether He choose to bring evil on you, or to shew you mercy? None beside God shall they find to be their patron or helper |
| Literal Say: "Who that protects/shelters you from God if He willed/wanted bad/evil/harm with you? Or He willed/wanted mercy with you? And they do not find for them from other than God a guardian/ally , and nor a victorior/savior |
| Mir Anees Original Say, “Who is it that can protect you from Allah if He intends evil for you or He intends mercy for you.” And they will not find for themselves, any guardian or helper besides Allah |
