Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 18 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 21
﴿۞ قَدۡ يَعۡلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلۡقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ هَلُمَّ إِلَيۡنَاۖ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡبَأۡسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 18]
﴿قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخوانهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس﴾ [الأحزَاب: 18]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Indeed God knows those among you who keep the people back, and those who say to their brothers, “Come along with us,” but they do not come to the fight, except for a few |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad God also knows those holding others back among you, and those who say to their brothers: come to us. And only a few of them come to the battle |
| Ali Quli Qarai Allah knows those of you who discourage others, and those who say to their brethren, ‘Come to us!’ and take little part in the battle |
| Ali Unal God certainly knows those of you who are bent on diverting (others from fighting), as well as those who (being hypocrites) say to their brothers, "(Give up risking your life, so) come and join with us," and they do not join the struggle (of battle) except only a little |
| Hamid S Aziz Allah knows indeed those among you who hinder others and those who say to their brethren, "Come to us"; and they come not to the fight but a little |
| John Medows Rodwell God well knoweth those among you who cause hindrances, and those who say to their brethren, "Come hither to us;" and who come not to the fight except a little |
| Literal God had known the hinderers, obstructers, disincentivators and delayers from you and the saying/speakers to their brothers: "Come to us." And they do not come/do (join) the war/hardship , except a little/few |
| Mir Anees Original Allah indeed knows those among you who stop (others) and those who stop to their brothers, “Come to us,” and they do not come to fight but a little |
