﴿وَبِكُفۡرِهِمۡ وَقَوۡلِهِمۡ عَلَىٰ مَرۡيَمَ بُهۡتَٰنًا عَظِيمٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 156]
﴿وبكفرهم وقولهم على مريم بهتانا عظيما﴾ [النِّسَاء: 156]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And they rejected faith when they uttered against Mary a serious false charge |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And for their disbelief and their saying a great false accusation against Mary |
| Ali Quli Qarai And for their faithlessness, and their uttering a monstrous calumny against Mary |
| Ali Unal And because of their (persistence in) unbelief and speaking against Mary a tremendous calumny |
| Hamid S Aziz And because of their disbelief, and because of their utterance of a mighty calumny against Mary |
| John Medows Rodwell And for their unbelief, - and for their having spoken against Mary a grievous calumny |
| Literal And with their disbelief, and their saying on Mary great falsehood/slander |
| Mir Anees Original And (We punished them) due to their infidelity, and due to the great false charge on Maryam in their speech |
