﴿أَفَنَضۡرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَ صَفۡحًا أَن كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا مُّسۡرِفِينَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 5]
﴿أفنضرب عنكم الذكر صفحا أن كنتم قوما مسرفين﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 5]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Shall We then take away the message from you and disregard you, because you are a people transgressing beyond bounds |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Should We take the reminder away from you, ignoring you because you are excessive people |
| Ali Quli Qarai Shall We keep back the Reminder from you and disregard you because you are an unrestrained lot |
| Ali Unal Shall We take away this Reminder from you (and leave you to your own devices), because you are a people wasteful (of your God-given faculties and committing excesses) |
| Hamid S Aziz What! Shall We, then, turn away the Reminder (Quran) from you altogether because you are a wanton (transgressing) people |
| John Medows Rodwell Shall we then turn aside this warning from you because ye are a people who transgress |
| Literal Do We disregard/move from you the reminder/remembrance forgiveness/ condonation ? That (E) you were a nation (of) spoilers/neglecters |
