﴿وَأَنِ ٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ وَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡ أَن يَفۡتِنُوكَ عَنۢ بَعۡضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيۡكَۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعۡضِ ذُنُوبِهِمۡۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَفَٰسِقُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 49]
﴿وأن احكم بينهم بما أنـزل الله ولا تتبع أهواءهم واحذرهم أن يفتنوك﴾ [المَائدة: 49]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And judge between them by what God has revealed. And do not follow their selfish desires, but beware of them, so that they will not mislead you from that which God has sent down to you. And if they turn away, know that for some of their sins it is God's will to punish them. And indeed most people are rebellious |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And judge between them by what God sent down and do not follow their desires and beware of them that they do not tempt you away from some of what God sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that God wants to make them suffer for some of their sins. And indeed most of the people are disobedient |
| Ali Quli Qarai Judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires. Beware of them lest they should beguile you from part of what Allah has sent down to you. But if they turn their backs [on you], then know that Allah desires to punish them for some of their sins, and indeed many of the people are transgressors |
| Ali Unal (Thus did We command you:) Judge between them with what God has sent down and do not follow their desires and caprices, and beware of them lest they tempt you away from any part of what God has sent down to you. If they turn away, then know that God wills only to afflict them for some of their sins. And many among human beings are indeed transgressors |

| Literal And that judge/rule between them with what God descended, and do not follow their self attractions for desires , and be warned/cautious of them, that they test/misguide you from some/part (of) what God descended to you, so if they turned away, so know that God wants that (He) strikes/hits them with some/part (of) their72crimes, and that many of the people (are) debauchers (E) |
| Mir Anees Original And (We repeat) that (you should) judge between them by that which Allah has sent down, and (that you should) not follow their desires, and be cautious of them lest they turn you away from part of that which Allah has sent down to you. Then if they turn back, then know that Allah intends to afflict them on account of some of their sins, and many of the human beings are certainly transgressors |
| Mir Aneesuddin And (We repeat) that (you should) judge between them by that which God has sent down, and (that you should) not follow their desires, and be cautious of them lest they turn you away from part of that which God has sent down to you. Then if they turn back, then know that God intends to afflict them on account of some of their sins, and many of the human beings are certainly transgressors |
