Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 87 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 7
﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تُحَرِّمُواْ طَيِّبَٰتِ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوٓاْۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُعۡتَدِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 87]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا لا تحرموا طيبات ما أحل الله لكم ولا تعتدوا﴾ [المَائدة: 87]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al O you who believe, do not make impermissible good things that God has made permissible for you. However do not overindulge, for God does not love those who overindulge |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad You who believe, do not make good things that God made lawful for you unlawful, and do not exceed the limits. God does not like those who exceed the limits |
| Ali Quli Qarai O you who have faith! Do not prohibit the good things that Allah has made lawful to you, and do not transgress. Indeed Allah does not like the transgressors |
| Ali Unal O you who believe! Do not hold as unlawful the pure, wholesome things that God has made lawful to you, and do not exceed the bounds (either by making forbidden what is lawful, or by over-indulgence in the lawful). God does not love those who exceed the bounds |
| Hamid S Aziz O you who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah has made lawful for you, nor transgress (or commit excess); verily, Allah loves not the transgressors |
| John Medows Rodwell O ye who believe! interdict not the healthful viands which God hath allowed you; go not beyond this limit. God loveth not those who outstep it |
| Literal You, you those who believed, do not forbid/prohibit goodnesses (from) what God permitted/allowed for you, and do not transgress/violate , that God does not love/like the transgressors/violators |
| Mir Anees Original O you who believe ! do not make unlawful, the good things which Allah has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits, Allah certainly does not like those who exceed the limits |
| Mir Aneesuddin O you who believe ! do not make unlawful, the good things which God has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits, God certainly does not like those who exceed the limits |
