Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 144 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَمِنَ ٱلۡإِبِلِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِ وَمِنَ ٱلۡبَقَرِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۗ قُلۡ ءَآلذَّكَرَيۡنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِ أَمَّا ٱشۡتَمَلَتۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَرۡحَامُ ٱلۡأُنثَيَيۡنِۖ أَمۡ كُنتُمۡ شُهَدَآءَ إِذۡ وَصَّىٰكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِهَٰذَاۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٗا لِّيُضِلَّ ٱلنَّاسَ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 144]
﴿ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما﴾ [الأنعَام: 144]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair. Say, “Has He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females enclose? Were you present when God commanded such a thing? But who does more wrong than one who invents a lie against God, to lead astray people without knowledge? God does not guide the people who do wrong |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And two of the camels and two of the cows. Say: did He forbid the two males or the two females, or what is in the wombs of the two females? Or were you present when God instructed you to this? Who is more wrong than someone who makes up a lie (and attribute it) to God to misguide people without any knowledge? Indeed God does not guide the wrongdoing people |
| Ali Quli Qarai And two of camels and two of oxen. Say, ‘Is it the two males that He has forbidden or the two females, or what is contained in the wombs of the two females? Were you witnesses when Allah enjoined this upon you?’ So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who fabricates a lie against Allah to mislead the people without any knowledge? Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot |
| Ali Unal And likewise of camels there are two, and of oxen there are two. Say: "Is it the two males that God has made unlawful or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females may contain? Or were you present there to witness when God laid down this (the commandment you attribute to Him) for you?" Who is more in wrong than he who fabricates falsehood in attribution to God, and thus leads people astray without sound, authoritative knowledge? Indeed, God does not guide wrongdoing people (to the truth and the attainment of their goals) |
| Hamid S Aziz And of camels two, and cows two; say, "Are the two males unlawful, or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females contain? Were you witnesses when Allah ordained this for you? - Then who is more unjust than he who devises a lie against Alla |
| John Medows Rodwell And of camels a pair, and of oxen a pair. SAY: Hath He forbidden the two males or the two females; or that which the wombs of the two females enclose? Were ye witnesses when God enjoined you this? Who then is more wicked than he who, in his ignorance, inventeth a lie against God, to mislead men? God truly guideth not the wicked |
| Literal And from the camels two, and from the cows two, say: "Are the two males forbidden or the two females, but (or what) the two females` wombs/uteruses contained/included on (in) it? Or where you witnesses/testifiers if God directed/commanded you with that? So who (is) more unjust/oppressive than who fabricated on (about) God lies/falsifications to misguide the people without knowledge?" That God does not guide the nation the unjust/oppressive |
| Mir Anees Original And two of camels and two of cows, say, "Has He made unlawful the two males or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Or were you witnesses when Allah directed you with this?" So who is more unjust than him who forges a lie against Allah to mislead human beings without knowledge? Allah certainly does not guide the unjust people |
