Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 63 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿أَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ أَن جَآءَكُمۡ ذِكۡرٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ مِّنكُمۡ لِيُنذِرَكُمۡ وَلِتَتَّقُواْ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 63]
﴿أو عجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم ولتتقوا﴾ [الأعرَاف: 63]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “Do you wonder how there has come to you a message from your Lord, through a person of your own people, to warn you, so that you may be conscious of God, and happily receive His mercy?” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Or are you surprised that a reminder from your Master came to you, by a man from among you, to warn you and so that you control yourselves and you may receive mercy |
| Ali Quli Qarai Do you consider it odd that a reminder from your Lord should come to you through a man from among yourselves, to warn you so that you may be Godwary and so that you may receive His mercy?’ |
| Ali Unal Why, do you deem it strange that a reminder (a message and guidance) from your Lord should have come to you through a man from among yourselves that he may warn you (against the consequences of your way of life), and that you may guard against His punishment, and so that you may be favored with His grace and mercy |
| Hamid S Aziz Marvel you that there should come unto you a Reminder from your Lord by a man from amongst you, to warn you, that you may fear evil, and that per chance (or possibly) you may receive mercy |

| Literal Are you astonished/surprised that a reminder came to you from your Lord on a man from you to warn/give you notice, and to fear and obey (E), and maybe/perhaps you attain mercy |
| Mir Anees Original What ! do you wonder that a reminder has come to you from your Fosterer through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may guard (against evil) and that you may be dealt with mercifully |
