Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 30 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عُزَيۡرٌ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَٰرَى ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوۡلُهُم بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡۖ يُضَٰهِـُٔونَ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 30]
﴿وقالت اليهود عزير ابن الله وقالت النصارى المسيح ابن الله ذلك قولهم﴾ [التوبَة: 30]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth. They only imitate what the unbelievers in the past used to say. God's curse is on them. Indeed they are deluded |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad The Jewish said: Ezra is son of God. And the Christians said: Christ is son of God. This is their word from their mouth and it is like saying of those who disbelieved before them. May God fight them, they have deviated |
| Ali Quli Qarai The Jews say, ‘Ezra is the son of Allah,’ and the Christians say, ‘Christ is the son of Allah.’ That is an opinion that they mouth, imitating the opinions of the faithless of former times. May Allah assail them, where do they stray |
| Ali Unal And those Jews (who came to you) say (as did some Jews who lived before): "Ezra (‘Uzayr) is God’s son;" and (as a general assertion) the Christians say: "The Messiah is God’s son." Such are merely their verbal assertions in imitation of the utterances of some unbelievers who preceded them. May God destroy them! How can they be turned away from the truth and make such assertions |

| Literal And the Jews said: "Ezra (is) God`s son", and the Christians , said: "The Messiah, (is) God`s son." That (is) their saying/word/opinion and belief with their mouths, they equal/resemble (the) saying/word/opinion and belief (of) those who disbelieved from before, God fought/killed them, how (do) they be lied to/be turned away |
| Mir Anees Original And the Jews say, "Uzair is the son of Allah," and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their saying with their mouths, they imitate the saying of those who did not believe earlier, may Allah destroy them, how they are turned away (from the truth) |
| Mir Aneesuddin The Jews say, “Uzair is the son of God,” while the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of God.” Such are their baseless assertions, only parroting the words of earlier disbelievers. May God condemn them! How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺ |
