﴿وَيَحۡلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمِنكُمۡ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ يَفۡرَقُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 56]
﴿ويحلفون بالله إنهم لمنكم وما هم منكم ولكنهم قوم يفرقون﴾ [التوبَة: 56]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They swear by God that they are indeed with you, but they are not with you. So they are afraid |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they swear by God that indeed they are of you while they are not of you, but they are scared people |
| Ali Quli Qarai They swear by Allah that they belong to you, but they do not belong to you. Rather, they are a frightened lot |
| Ali Unal They swear by God that they are indeed of you (belonging with the believers), yet they are not of you. They are only a people ridden by fear (and thereby pretending to be of you) |
| Hamid S Aziz They swear by Allah that, in truth, they are of you; but they are not of you, and they are a people who do stand aside in fear |
