Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 96 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 11
﴿يَحۡلِفُونَ لَكُمۡ لِتَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡۖ فَإِن تَرۡضَوۡاْ عَنۡهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرۡضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 96]
﴿يحلفون لكم لترضوا عنهم فإن ترضوا عنهم فإن الله لا يرضى عن﴾ [التوبَة: 96]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They will swear to you so that you may be pleased with them, but even if you are pleased with them, God is not pleased with those who are defiant |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They swear for you so that you are pleased with them, but even if you are pleased with them, God is not pleased with the disobedient people |
| Ali Quli Qarai They swear to you that you may be reconciled to them. But even if you are reconciled to them, Allah shall not be reconciled to the transgressing lot |
| Ali Unal They will swear to you so that you may be pleased with them. But even should you be pleased with them, God will not be pleased with the transgressing people |
| Hamid S Aziz They will swear unto you that you may accept them; but if you accept them, Allah, verily accepts not a people who work abomination |
| John Medows Rodwell They will adjure you to take pleasure in them; but if ye take pleasure in them, God truly will take no pleasure in those who act corruptly |
| Literal They swear/take oath to you to accept/approve of them, so if you accept/approve of them, so that God does not accept/approve of the nation the debauchers |
| Mir Anees Original They will swear to you that you may be pleased with them, but (even) if you are pleased with them, Allah is certainly not pleased with the transgressing people |
