﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 44]
﴿قالوا أضغاث أحلام وما نحن بتأويل الأحلام بعالمين﴾ [يُوسُف: 44]
| Shabbir Ahmed They answered, "Confused nightmares! We are not skilled in interpreting such dreams |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed They (the chiefs) said: "A confused mixture of false dreams: And we are not skilled in interpreting the meaning of dreams |
| Talal A Itani New Translation They said, 'Jumbles of dreams, and we know nothing of the interpretation of dreams |

| Yusuf Ali Orig They said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams |
