﴿۞ وَٱكۡتُبۡ لَنَا فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٗ وَفِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنَّا هُدۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَۚ قَالَ عَذَابِيٓ أُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَشَآءُۖ وَرَحۡمَتِي وَسِعَتۡ كُلَّ شَيۡءٖۚ فَسَأَكۡتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤۡتُونَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 156]
﴿واكتب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة إنا هدنا إليك قال﴾ [الأعرَاف: 156]
| Shabbir Ahmed Ordain for us the good in this world and in the Hereafter. We turn to You with conviction in Your Guidance." God responded, "My punishment is but the Law of Requital, and My Mercy embraces all things. I will specify My Mercy to those who walk aright, spend their wealth on community welfare, and practically believe in Our Revelations |
| Syed Vickar Ahamed And grant for us that which is good, in this life and in the Hereafter: Because we have (repented and) returned to You." He (Allah) said: "With My Punishment, I visit whom I will; But My Mercy extends to all things. That I shall grant for those who do right, and practice regular charity, and for those who believe in Our Signs;"— |

He said, 'My punishment—I inflict it upon whomever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things. | Tbirving Prescribe a fine thing for us in this world and in the Hereafter; let us be guided towards You!" He said: "I afflict anyone I wish with My torment while My mercy embraces everything; I shall prescribe it for those who do their duty, pay the welfare tax, and who believe in Our signs |
