﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتَلۡفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا ٱلۡكِبۡرِيَآءُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[يُونس: 78]
﴿قالوا أجئتنا لتلفتنا عما وجدنا عليه آباءنا وتكون لكما الكبرياء في الأرض﴾ [يُونس: 78]
| Abdel Haleem They said, ‘Have you come to turn us away from the faith we found our fathers following, so that you and your brother can gain greatness in this land? We will never believe in you.’ |
| Abdul Hye They said: “Have you come to us to turn us away from the faith of our forefathers in order that you 2 (Moses and Aaron) may have greatness (become leaders) in the land? We are not going to believe in you 2!” |
