﴿وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخۡذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَهِيَ ظَٰلِمَةٌۚ إِنَّ أَخۡذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٞ شَدِيدٌ ﴾
[هُود: 102]
﴿وكذلك أخذ ربك إذا أخذ القرى وهي ظالمة إن أخذه أليم شديد﴾ [هُود: 102]
| Abdel Haleem Such is the punishment of your Lord for towns in the midst of their sins: His punishment is terrible and severe |
| Abdul Hye Such is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the town (population) while they are doing wrong. Surely, His seizure is painful and severe |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And even such is the overtaking of thy Lord when He overtaketh the cities while they are wrong-doers; verily His overtaking is afflictive, severe |
