﴿وَلَئِنۡ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةٗ ثُمَّ نَزَعۡنَٰهَا مِنۡهُ إِنَّهُۥ لَيَـُٔوسٞ كَفُورٞ ﴾
[هُود: 9]
﴿ولئن أذقنا الإنسان منا رحمة ثم نـزعناها منه إنه ليئوس كفور﴾ [هُود: 9]
Abdel Haleem How desperate and ungrateful man becomes when We let him taste Our mercy and then withhold it |
Abdul Hye And if We give a person taste of Mercy from Us, and then withdraws it from him, surely he is despairing, ungrateful |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If We give man a taste of Mercy from Ourselves, and then withdraw it from him, behold! he is in despair and (falls into) blasphemy |
