﴿لَّهُمۡ عَذَابٞ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَشَقُّۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٖ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 34]
﴿لهم عذاب في الحياة الدنيا ولعذاب الآخرة أشق وما لهم من الله﴾ [الرَّعد: 34]
| Abdel Haleem There is a punishment for them in this world, but the punishment of the Hereafter will be harder- no one will defend them against God |
| Abdul Hye For them there is a punishment in the life of this world, and certainly their punishment in the Hereafter is harder. They have no protector against Allah |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and defender have they none against Allah |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi For them is torment in the life of the Word, and surely the torment of the Hereafter is harder; and from Allah there is for them no protector |
