﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ مَن يُنكِرُ بَعۡضَهُۥۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَلَآ أُشۡرِكَ بِهِۦٓۚ إِلَيۡهِ أَدۡعُواْ وَإِلَيۡهِ مَـَٔابِ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 36]
﴿والذين آتيناهم الكتاب يفرحون بما أنـزل إليك ومن الأحزاب من ينكر بعضه﴾ [الرَّعد: 36]
| Abdel Haleem Those to whom We sent the Scripture rejoice in what has been revealed to you [Prophet]; some factions deny parts of it. Say, ‘I am commanded to worship God, and not join anything with Him in worship: to Him I call [others] and to Him I shall return.’ |
| Abdul Hye Those whom We have given the book, rejoice at what has been revealed to you (the Qur’an), but there are those among the clans who reject a part thereof. Say (O Muhammad): “I am commanded only to worship Allah (alone) and not to join partners with Him. To Him alone I call and to Him is my return.” |
