﴿فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ﴾
[الحِجر: 74]
﴿فجعلنا عاليها سافلها وأمطرنا عليهم حجارة من سجيل﴾ [الحِجر: 74]
| Abdel Haleem We turned their city upside down and rained on them a shower of clay stones |
| Abdul Hye And We turned it (towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down and rained to them stones of baked clay |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And We turned (the cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And We made the upside there of downwards, and We rained on them stones of baked clay |
