﴿فَلَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٞ نَّفۡسَكَ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ إِن لَّمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا ﴾
[الكَهف: 6]
﴿فلعلك باخع نفسك على آثارهم إن لم يؤمنوا بهذا الحديث أسفا﴾ [الكَهف: 6]
| Abdel Haleem But [Prophet] are you going to worry yourself to death over them if they do not believe in this message |
| Abdul Hye Perhaps, you would kill yourself (O Muhammad) in grief over their footsteps, because they don’t believe in this narration (the Qur’an) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Thou wouldst only, perchance, fret thyself to death, following after them, in grief, if they believe not in this Message |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Haply thou art going to kill thyself over their footsteps, if they believe not in this discourse, out of sorrow |
| Ahmed Ali Will you kill yourself for grief of them if they do not believe in this presentation |
| Aisha Bewley Perhaps you may destroy yourself with grief, chasing after them, if they do not have iman in these words |
