﴿قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبۡغِۚ فَٱرۡتَدَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَارِهِمَا قَصَصٗا ﴾
[الكَهف: 64]
﴿قال ذلك ما كنا نبغ فارتدا على آثارهما قصصا﴾ [الكَهف: 64]
| Abdel Haleem Moses said, ‘Then that was the place we were looking for.’ So the two turned back, retraced their footsteps |
| Abdul Hye (Moses) said: “That is what we have been seeking.” So they went back retracing their footsteps |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing |
| Ahmed Ali Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps |
