﴿فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ أَن سَبِّحُواْ بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 11]
﴿فخرج على قومه من المحراب فأوحى إليهم أن سبحوا بكرة وعشيا﴾ [مَريَم: 11]
| Abdel Haleem He went out of the sanctuary to his people and signalled to them to praise God morning and evening |
| Abdul Hye So he came out to his people from the praying place, then he told them by signs to glorify (Allah) in the morning and in the afternoon |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali So Zakariya came out to his people from him chamber: He told them by signs to celebrate Allah's praises in the morning and in the evening |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then he came forth to his people from the sanctuary, and he beckoned unto them. hallow your Lord morning and evening |
