﴿فَكُلِي وَٱشۡرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيۡنٗاۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡبَشَرِ أَحَدٗا فَقُولِيٓ إِنِّي نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ صَوۡمٗا فَلَنۡ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِنسِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 26]
﴿فكلي واشربي وقري عينا فإما ترين من البشر أحدا فقولي إني نذرت﴾ [مَريَم: 26]
| Abdel Haleem so eat, drink, be glad, and say to anyone you may see: “I have vowed to the Lord of Mercy to abstain from conversation, and I will not talk to anyone today.”’ |
| Abdul Hye So eat, drink, and cool your eyes. If you see anyone from human being, say: ‘I have vowed a fast to the Gracious (Allah), so I shall not speak today to any human being.”’ |
