﴿فَمَنۢ بَدَّلَهُۥ بَعۡدَ مَا سَمِعَهُۥ فَإِنَّمَآ إِثۡمُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُۥٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٞ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 181]
﴿فمن بدله بعد ما سمعه فإنما إثمه على الذين يبدلونه إن الله﴾ [البَقَرَة: 181]
Abdel Haleem If anyone alters the bequest after hearing it, the guilt of the alteration will fall on them: God is all hearing and all knowing |
Abdul Hye Whoever changes it (the will) after hearing it, then its sin shall be on those who change it. Truly, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If anyone changes the bequest after hearing it, the guilt shall be on those who make the change. For Allah hears and knows (All things) |
