﴿إِنَّا قَدۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡنَآ أَنَّ ٱلۡعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴾
[طه: 48]
﴿إنا قد أوحي إلينا أن العذاب على من كذب وتولى﴾ [طه: 48]
| Abdel Haleem it has been revealed to us that punishment falls on whoever rejects the truth and turns his back on it.”’ |
| Abdul Hye Surely, indeed it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be on those who deny and turn away.’” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Verily We! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away |
