﴿وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا لِبَشَرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ ٱلۡخُلۡدَۖ أَفَإِيْن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 34]
﴿وما جعلنا لبشر من قبلك الخلد أفإن مت فهم الخالدون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 34]
| Abdel Haleem We have not granted everlasting life to any other human being before you either [Muhammad]- if you die, will [the disbelievers] live for ever |
| Abdul Hye And We have not granted immortality to any human being before you (Muhammad), then if you die, will they (disbelievers) live forever |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And We appointed not for any human being before thee immortality; if thou then diest, are they to be immortals |
| Ahmed Ali We have given no man everlastingness before you. So then if you die, will they live ever after |
| Aisha Bewley We did not give any human being before you immortality. And if you die, will they then be immortal |
| A. J. Arberry We have not assigned to any mortal before thee to live forever; therefore, if thou diest, will they live forever |
| Ali Quli Qarai We did not give immortality to any human before you. If you are fated to die, will they live on forever |
