﴿ثُمَّ نُكِسُواْ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 65]
﴿ثم نكسوا على رءوسهم لقد علمت ما هؤلاء ينطقون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 65]
| Abdel Haleem but then they lapsed again and said, ‘You know very well these gods cannot speak.’ |
| Abdul Hye Then they turned to themselves (and said): “Indeed you (Abraham) know that these (idols) cannot speak!” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Thereafter they were made to turn over upon their heads, saying, assuredly thou knowest that they speak not |
| Ahmed Ali Then crestfallen (they confessed): "Truly, as you know, they cannot speak |
