﴿فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ غُثَآءٗۚ فَبُعۡدٗا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 41]
﴿فأخذتهم الصيحة بالحق فجعلناهم غثاء فبعدا للقوم الظالمين﴾ [المؤمنُون: 41]
| Abdel Haleem The blast justly struck them and We swept them away like scum. Away with the evildoers |
| Abdul Hye So an awful cry overtook them in truth (with justice), and We made them as rubbish of dead plants. So gone is the people who are wrongdoers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then the shout laid hold of them in truth, and We made them a refuse; so away with the wrong-doing people |
| Ahmed Ali So they were rightly seized by a mighty blast; and We turned them into mouldy rubbish: A good riddance of the wicked people |
