﴿ذَٰلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡرَحُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَمۡرَحُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 75]
﴿ذلكم بما كنتم تفرحون في الأرض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تمرحون﴾ [غَافِر: 75]
| Abdel Haleem all because on earth you revelled in untruth and ran wild |
| Abdul Hye (It will be said): “That was because you used to be delighted in the earth without the right (worship others instead of Allah), and you used to rejoice extremely |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting |
| Ahmed Ali This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent |
| Aisha Bewley ´That is because you exulted on the earth, without any right to do so; and strutted about |
