Quran with English translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 75 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿ذَٰلِكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡرَحُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَمۡرَحُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 75]
﴿ذلكم بما كنتم تفرحون في الأرض بغير الحق وبما كنتم تمرحون﴾ [غَافِر: 75]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “That is because you were accustomed to rejoicing on the earth in things other than the truth, and that you were accustomed to being insolent |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad That is because you used to rejoice unjustifiably (and excessively) on the earth, and because you used to exuberate |
| Ali Quli Qarai ‘That [punishment] is because you used to boast unduly on the earth and because you used to strut |
| Ali Unal That (His leading you astray and your punishment) is because you arrogantly exulted on the earth without (sense of the bounds of) right, and because you were arbitrary in your exulting |
| Hamid S Aziz (It is said,) "That is because you exulted in the earth unjustly and because you behaved insolently |
| John Medows Rodwell This for you, because of your unrighteous insolence and immoderate joys on earth |
| Literal That (is) because (of) what you were being happy/rejoiceful/delighted in the earth/Planet Earth without the right/truth , and because (of) what you were being lively and joyful |
| Mir Anees Original That is because you used to exult in the earth without having the right to do so and because you used to be proud |
