﴿أَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٖ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ ﴾
[الدُّخان: 37]
﴿أهم خير أم قوم تبع والذين من قبلهم أهلكناهم إنهم كانوا مجرمين﴾ [الدُّخان: 37]
| Abdel Haleem Are they better than the people of Tubbaand those who flourished before them? We destroyed them all- they were guilty |
| Abdul Hye Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed criminals |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin |
