﴿أَفَمَن كَانَ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ كَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم ﴾
[مُحمد: 14]
﴿أفمن كان على بينة من ربه كمن زين له سوء عمله واتبعوا﴾ [مُحمد: 14]
Abdel Haleem Can those who follow clear proof from their Lord be compared to those whose foul deeds are made to seem alluring to them, those who follow their own desires |
Abdul Hye Is the one who is on a clear proof from its Lord be compared to those for whom their evil deeds are beautified for them, while they follow their own lusts (evil desires) |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Is he then who standeth, on an evidence from his Lord like Unto him whose evil of work is made fair-seeming for him and those who follow their lusts |
