﴿وَقَفَّيۡنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِم بِعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ مُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدٗى وَنُورٞ وَمُصَدِّقٗا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَهُدٗى وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 46]
﴿وقفينا على آثارهم بعيسى ابن مريم مصدقا لما بين يديه من التوراة﴾ [المَائدة: 46]
| Abdel Haleem We sent Jesus, son of Mary, in their footsteps, to confirm the Torah that had been sent before him: We gave him the Gospel with guidance, light, and confirmation of the Torah already revealed- a guide and lesson for those who take heed of God |
| Abdul Hye And We sent in their foot steps, Jesus, son of Mary, confirming what had come before him from the Torah, and We gave him the Gospel in which was guidance and light, and confirming what has come before him from the Torah, guidance, and an admonition for the pious |
