﴿وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلۡمَآءَ قِسۡمَةُۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡۖ كُلُّ شِرۡبٖ مُّحۡتَضَرٞ ﴾
[القَمَر: 28]
﴿ونبئهم أن الماء قسمة بينهم كل شرب محتضر﴾ [القَمَر: 28]
| Abdel Haleem Tell them the water is to be shared between them: each one should drink in turn.’ |
| Abdul Hye Inform them that the water is to be shared between them (and she-camel). Each (one’s right) to drink is being established (by turns) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And declare thou Unto them that water hath been divided between them; every drinking shall be by turns |
| Ahmed Ali Tell them that the water is to be apportioned between them (and her); and every turn of drinking will be fixed (for each) |
