﴿لَقَدۡ كَانَ لَكُمۡ فِيهِمۡ أُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرۡجُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ ٱلۡحَمِيدُ ﴾
[المُمتَحنَة: 6]
﴿لقد كان لكم فيهم أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الآخر﴾ [المُمتَحنَة: 6]
| Abdel Haleem Truly, they are a good example for you [believers] to follow, a good example for those who fear God and the Last Day. If anyone turns away, [remember] God is self-sufficing and worthy of all praise |
| Abdul Hye Surely, there is an excellent example for you in them to follow for those who look forward to (the meeting with) Allah and the Last Day. Whoever turns away, then surely, Allah is Rich (free of all wants), Praise-Worthy |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise |
