﴿قَالَ أَلۡقُواْۖ فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ سَحَرُوٓاْ أَعۡيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ وَجَآءُو بِسِحۡرٍ عَظِيمٖ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 116]
﴿قال ألقوا فلما ألقوا سحروا أعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءو بسحر عظيم﴾ [الأعرَاف: 116]
| Abdel Haleem He said, ‘You throw,’ and they did, casting a spell on people’s eyes, striking fear into them, and bringing about great sorcery |
| Abdul Hye He (Moses) said: “You throw (first).” So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, scared them, and they displayed with a great magic |
