﴿وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا ﴾
[المُرسَلات: 27]
﴿وجعلنا فيها رواسي شامخات وأسقيناكم ماء فراتا﴾ [المُرسَلات: 27]
| Abdel Haleem Did We not place firm, lofty mountains on it and provide you with sweet water |
| Abdul Hye placed on it firm, tall and high mountains, and given you sweet water to drink |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome) |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh |
| Ahmed Ali And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink |
| Aisha Bewley Did We not place firmly embedded mountains in it, soaring high into the air, and give you sweet fresh water to drink |
| A. J. Arberry Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water |
