﴿إِذۡ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيۡكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذۡهِبَ عَنكُمۡ رِجۡزَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيَرۡبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلۡأَقۡدَامَ ﴾
[الأنفَال: 11]
﴿إذ يغشيكم النعاس أمنة منه وينـزل عليكم من السماء ماء ليطهركم به﴾ [الأنفَال: 11]
| Abdel Haleem Remember when He gave you sleep as a reassurance from Him, and sent down water from the sky to cleanse you, to remove Satan’s pollution from you, to make your hearts strong and your feet firm |
| Abdul Hye (Remember before the battle of Badr) when He covered you with a drowsiness as a security from Him, He sent down rain on you from the sky to clean you thereby and take away from you the evil-thinking of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and thereby make your feet firm thereby |
